Just stop.
I know we all want to find meaning in tragedy, and I understand that we all crave some sort of happy ending.
You can't speak for the dead and explain away their actions. We can never know what they thought and felt. Not now.
You politicize and sensationalize instead of grieving. As if the dead have an agenda. As though dying were a claim to fame.
Or you meme and quote the dead into little boxes. They must be experts after all; death makes every remark seem insightful.
Stop talking for the dead. Mourn, grieve, sing songs and speak soft and kind.
Or just stop talking.
